We cordially invite you to Conference “Catalysis for biomass derived molecules to valuable products” (CBVP), to be held in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico on June 11 – 12, 2020. This 2-days conference will take place at the end of the XXVII Ibero-American Catalysis Congress (June 7-12, 2020) and both Conferences share the same venue. The CBVP is also a Satellite Conference of the “International Catalysis Congress 2020” (June 14-19, 2020).

The goal of the "Catalysis for biomass derived molecules to valuable products" conference is to bring together researchers from academia and industry working on all aspects of catalysis for biomass derived molecules, including synthesis, characterization, kinetic modelling, theoretical aspects. Interaction and fruitful discussion, between the participants working on this topic will be essential to move the field forward towards a better understanding of the catalytic aspects.

The conference covers all aspects of application of catalysis on biorefineries, particularly

•   Fundamental and applied catalysis in biorefinery
• Molecular insights in processing of biomass
• Utilization of lignocellulosic, algal biomass, vegetable oils and other biomass
• Industrial demonstrations
• Catalysis in its variety – homogeneous, enzymatic and heterogeneous catalysis
