ABSTRACT SUBMISSION is opened until February 15th, 2020

All abstracts accepted in the X Meeting of The Latin American Society of Tuberculosis and other Mycobacteriosis (SLAM-TB), will be published in the Bio Ciencias Journal (ISSN: 2007-3380) http://revistabiociencias.uan.mx, which is an open-access Mexican Journal, cataloged in the CONACyT Mexican Journal of Science and Technology Classification System and in the Web of Science (Emerging Source Index).

Therefore, the abstracts MUST STRICTLY adhere to the following instructions:


  1. All abstracts must be written in English and sent in Word format in a separate file. With upper and lower margin of 2.5 cm and left and right margins of 3.0 cm.

  2. Title must be centered and a maximum of 25 words. ARIAL font (12pts, 1.5 line spacing).

  3. Last name (s) of the authors, followed by the initials of their first name and indicate with numbers (superscript format), the academic institution of adscription. The attending author must be marked with an asterisk (Arial 11 pts, line spacing 1.5).

  4. Affiliation institutions, their address and contact details of the corresponding author of the work (Arial 10, with simple line spacing).

  5. The abstract must contain a maximum of 250 words (Arial 12, with 1.5 line spacing). The summary must contain, if implicitly, the following sections: Introduction, objective, methodology, results and conclusion. By submitting the abstract, you confirm consent of all co-authors to provide their data.

NOTE: Failure to adhere to the proposed format may be a criterion of rejection of abstracts.

Very important: Please select the Topic under which the abstract should be reviewed after consulting the list of topics.

Abstracts should contain new and original information, not published elsewhere prior to 31 January 2020.

All abbreviations used must be defined the first time they appear.

Authors should include their presentation preference: Poster/oral/poster or oral. The Organizing Committee has the final decision on the method of presentation.

If an abstract is accepted, one author must attend the congress and present it in person.

Some abstracts will be selected as oral presentation.

Abstract submission is free of charge.
